training. His unique skills are derived from a distinguished career in law
enforcement, specialized trauma response training and first-hand experience
in some of the world's most devastating conflicts. Kent focuses on providing

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Debriefed 200 atrocity survivors in Bosnia
- Honoured as the Canadian Public Relations Society's "Communicator of
the Year" and a frequent keynote speaker at events throughout North America.
- One of the few Canadian Crisis Responders to be certified by the
National Organization for Victims Assistance (NOVA) in Washington, D.C.
- Instrumental in developing a training model and video dealing with
death notification used by all levels of emergency service providers
throughout North America
- Conducted hearings for victims of violent crimes as a past Member of
the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board
- Recipient of the Police Exemplary Service Medal and the Judge Theo
McCombs Award from the Hamilton Automobile Club for outstanding contribution
